    My new 6 mm ARC

Build by Jaco Goosen on a Howa mini action with a 22" Criterion barrel. Using my 223's scope at the moment. Just waiting for the Sika Show.
After sighting in at 100 meters i shot some 5 shot groups with just factory ammo. Just to see what it may likes. Only using a bipod. Looks very promising.Name: 20221014_151731.jpg

I muck up the 105 gr group by shooting last 3 bullets rapidly at same target. All 3 low and to the right. Still good i think.

Nice. These wee guys (Grendel, 6.8 SPC etc) are the way of the future. Im really pleased with my CZ 527 in 6.8SPC, its my favourite hunting rifle!

I bought a new Delta Titanium at the Sika Show from the Delta guys. Very happy with. Only shot out to 200 meters. Once i have more time i will stretch it out. Looking good on the gun.

Nice little unit. I was waiting for the factory howa mini to come out in 6arc but it might be a long wait.
    How much does she weigh?

I always wanted to try the lighter projectiles in the 1/8 twist. Was not sure if it going to work. Well i got some 70gr Targex from Bryn, Alliant Power Pro Varmint powder and load data from an American forum and load up 7 different loads. Same COAL of 2.095" Just use my mates Chrony, nothing fancy. Set up a target at 100 meters. I know it not the right way to find a node and best group at same time but living in Auckland i do not always have the time. So here it goes. Load 1 to 7, speeds and 3 shot groups. Need a bit of tinkering on some loads and it going to be very accurate. What do you guys think?

Pick either load 2 or 6 to confirm repeatable and into the wind you go

85gr Sierra HPBT would be a good bullet to try, should be ideal as a deer round in the 6ARC. They perform well in my 6x45.

I've had a 6mm arc for about year and a half now, love that little cartridge. I use 87gr V-Maxes for coyotes and 103gr Eldx's for antelope. Best powder has been LeverRevolution.
