damn it, I was watching that and was hopping it was going to relist. I would leave as open sights or stick a red dot on it- A mate who had one found he had to shoot it fast or he would flinch badly

So I fired two shots with it (440gr). The recoil is noticeable - with the barrel break lever/trigger guard coming back and touching fingers gripping the pistol grip.
Also the stock has split.....

If my work annoys me, I cull them
Now that sucks
Good work to break a laminate stock you rough bugger. Must be milled out a bit in there. They do those in bigger rifle calibres than the 500 s/w so that's a bit odd really.
EDIT: had a quick look online-you stock loos a bit modified. the proper factory ones have more meat in the pistol grip.
shouldnt be too hard to get a replacement stock...personally I would go for solid/heavy one to assist with recoil and prevent it happening again.....
Bugger bro not ideal

found one for ya...
looks impressive. Must have some push back to do that.
The silencer will help with that
lol didnt even read it....might be a common fault with that stock design me thinks????
have a look at Boyds stocks, not sure if its your model . . . they have them for $69US
without a picture . .. it never happened !
Get the thumbhole version and that type of rupture won't happen .
Also bedding the action into the new stock might help to distribute the recoil force more evenly and limit the beginning of a crack.
