Been thinking about rebarrelling my 7x64 to 9.3x62 with some express sights and re cerakoting.

It has some pitting on the underside of the barrel which wasn’t apparent until it was cleaned up for the cerakoting which has always bothered me maybe a rebarrel is in order

Maybe 9.3x64 would be a good idea, them I can use all my brass and just resize.

Spudattack, I think you will find that 9.3x64 brass, cant be made from 7x64 brass, I believe the base sizes are quite different,
I know of a few threads that have stated that. before you get any expensive idea's, that require custom dies, and reamer, it may pay, to do a bit of research.

Ah, you are absolutely right

Good call, will stick to my 9.3x62 idea, common components and all that

I have another really ambitious idea but we won’t go there just yet
