Thread: NI Big Bore : any interest ?

I am keen to come , will bring the big gun and the little gun. But I am not sure if I ll be able to finish the course with the big one :-)

I`m in I think, my Sharps 45-70 and maybe my Hawken plains rifle with .20" .50cal barrel should fit the bill, but no rapid fire. If its over a few days camp up with my s/c caravan if that's ok.

Lets put it this way, bring whatever you want. If you bring something small you may or may not get some ribbing. And only those with REAL calibers will qualify for the BIG Kahuna award

Wasn't there a 350 Remington magnum on here for sale. Now that'd be a good caliber.

If I fire 20 rounds thru my 500 or 450/400 double, I won’t have a big Kahuna!! Unless that means “fucked shoulder?”
Haven’t fired my new #2 musket, my 577/450 is ok

venue will be in Taranaki, just outside New Plymouth

Range fee : $ 20 will include bbq and soft-drink
