Place to sight in a rifle near Auckland

    Hi all,
Looking for some where to sight in a new A7 243. It's surpresed so reasonably quiet.
Do any members have a property where I could do this within an hour drive of Auckland. I would love to meet any members who could help me out. I'm in Rodney, handy to a few forests, but don't want to go and pull any dodgy manouvers. Would prefer to be on a property where I have permission and can be relaxed about it.
I'm looking to zero at 100m but if range allows try it every 100 or 50m out to 400 or 500m.

More than happy to pay for the privilege cash, tucker, swap labour or to stump up some Koha.

Drop a PM if you prefer.

    or North...

next shoot for this range is 20th as well... at 200m

    Giddy Grunter,
What's the score with NZDS ranges. Can any one turn up? Do you need to be a member?

Just show up with money and good to go.

Could potentially sight in with me and @Alonzo over easter weekend at my dad's place in dairyflat if you're not in too much of a hurry

    What Nibblet said.
The Auckland range has strict entry and exit times, so you are stuck there half a day like it or not.
Cost is $20 for non members, it has a 25m and 100m range, (and 200m is open sometimes)...
Take earmuffs to all ranges, targets and range flags are available to buy.
A stapler or tape is handy to hold up your target...
    have fun...

Both ranges will be busy on the 20th, with Easter being stupidly early this year.
I'll be at Auckland range for the PM session on the 20th.
    Welcome to Sako club.
