    I do have to ask; has anyone on here actually had any problems with plastic tip melting actually making a difference at the distances you are shooting them at?

    Looks like good times ahead for Berger too!

    Exactly! The speal on the tip deforming and altering the bc could well be the case, but honestly what a load of marketing whoha, Hornady knows their bullets are quite a bit cheaper than some of the opposition, and what a great way of justifying ramping the price up. As soon as i heard them talking about how complex the new bullets are to make, i thought "here we go i'm starting to feel like im being conditioned for a reaming on price here".

    The whole video reeks of typical yankie infomercial.

    As soon as I read you writing about hearing about that theory I called my supplier with the intention of confiscating his Amax's in exchange for my money.
    Bullets are consumables.
    They never seem to get cheaper.
