Police Consultation With Shooters (Christchurch Area)

    Hi All,

For those in Christchurch the Police as part of MP Stuart Nash's Plan to get the Police to be more open and hear the shooting communities questions there is an open meeting at the Christchurch RSA Hereford Street at 4:30 to 6:pm this coming Tuesday 19th June. This has been very poorly advertised. If any of you all can make it please do so as the more that turn up, the more we can have a say in the way we shoot in the future.

Typical-starts when I knock off work at Kaiapoi. Already losing hours at work and cant really leave early so don't reckon I can get there.
Said this before about fecked up start times for public consultation.

I definitely would have come along to this had I known earlier!

Unfortunately I can't now as annoyingly I just got offered a job today that starts Monday.

Any idea who decided on the time of the meeting? If a few of us were to be able to ask nicely we might be able to get the time moved an hour or two so more folks can make it?

They’ve done it like this on purpose. During working hours , small venues. Our one in Timaru has enough room for 20 people. We’re trying to get 40 there. They aren’t really interested in what we have to say. Just the same as the WARO review currently about to go through the same format. Support your nzda and make sure areas such as the rakaia red deer herd are submitted to be out of the green zone.
