Gun control wise, having a finger wrapped around the front of the trigger guard helps me the most to speed up accurate follow up shots.
I have been shooting like this for many years.

Best thing I can suggest is to try a few things on the timer (See how you accuracy is as well) and see what works for you.

Hooking my finger around the trigger guard has to be my worst habit, even though the Shadow appears to be designed for it I find it pulls my double taps left and stops my thumb from locking well onto the left side of the frame

No. He emailed me he is out of stock the other day. Getting more in shortly.
Not that he mentioned anything but I am hoping at the price I clicked on😆

Would be surprised because Alpha Academy told me I got the last one from their online store, and couldn't find them anywhere else. Ultimate dry fire training tool though

A bit sales pitchy but have been doing what Max Michel advises in this vid, set a 3 second delay and 2 second par time and practice slow drawing for half an hour. Aiming to pull trigger close to the 2 sec beep. Then 5 minutes of 1 second par time and trying not to fumble. Has been really good for getting the muscle memory to a point where i'm comfortable drawing with my new CZ. I found in the past I would just get faster and faster with no consistency

Looking forward to playing with the SPY mode on club shoots, I'm sure some of the old buggers RO'ing add a few seconds to my time if I'm beating them

I know what you mean by club times.
Did a stage twice a month ago. I was positive I went slower on my second run.
But was 5 secs faster with a different RO.😆

Ok cool. I thought it might be sensitive enough to record the hammer fall or something.
I been doing similar training but I'm still shit😆
I was watching one of JMs vids, where he was just screwing around but drawing and hitting steel in .7ish

I tried to go fast practicing over the bed doing mag changes and stuff and almost threw my Bul thru the ranchslider 5m away😆

I am getting faster loading my shotty without fumbling, pretty consistently.
But it I need to slow down a tad doing it live or most of my shells end up all over the range.

It will pick up the hammer fall on high sensitivity, par time sets the beep to go off and then can read back your split to see how close your trigger pull was to the goal, awesome. I always considered shot timers to be hell overpriced but now there's no competition, especially when people start programming for the Bluetooth output from the Shotmaxx to do some cool things on smartphones/pc

Had a good live session today.
Shot a short 9 rnd stage I got from my stage book at the south island champs.
4 papers and a small steel circle.
A zones were halved on the closer 2 papers by a no shoot.
The 10m papers had a no shoot covering the D zones.
I think the winning time in Dunners was 4.2 secs max score. Production division.

I did it using my go pro thingy but I have no idea how to upload a video😆

I managed a 4.3 first go max score with a .40 so I was pretty happy about that.
Did it a few more times and went a little bit worse.
Did it again with my shadow and went clean in 4.6 and worse again after.
It was a great way to spend my last evening in NZ for a month😆

I know I can static reloads in 1.5 to 1.8 seconds (shot to shot). However, how many stages in IPSC do we actually do this while standing still? Not often(if double stack anyway).

If at all possible, reload on the move right? We've done drills where we reloaded on the move between targets and not. The difference is normally less than 0.3 seconds (if measurable at all). So apart for forming mussel memory, why is doing static reloads important?
