Thread: Range Etiquette (or lack thereof)

    They were talking about their hobby and got carried away, so its not a crime, but son, you have to speak up for yourself.

    Next time you turn around and you say "Range is hot you jokers." and then you go and do what your going to do, and expect to be obeyed. You just took over.

    I do know what you mean though. I have had similar experiences at pistol club, which is dominated by black rifle posers. You shouldn't have to, but this is life and sometimes you have to stand up to speak.

    It's even more interesting when people only take ear plugs as their rifles are suppressed, and then complain how loud unsuppressed rifles are.

    Or even worse, the ones who don't have any earpro as they just have a suppressed .22 and subs.

    And then they expect you to sit there until they have finished and leave and not shoot cause they don't have hearing protection.

    Eyes and ears at all times where I go. Paddock ranges are just plugs usually. Only problem I've had was with someone using a braked rifle outside the shooting tunnel.But once it was explained all was good.
