Another good one is a catering can size bake bean can. Leave the lid off and sit an empty one on top. Shoot the bottom one, the top one goes flying up in the ear.
    2 person game.
Fill a coffee can or baby food can - push lid type can, with water, lid on.
Put a empty drink can on top.
First person with a rifle (black powder front stuffer ) shoots the bottom can.
Second person with a shot gun (prefer black powder....) has to shoot the flying drink can before it hits the ground.
Sounds easy........ but is bloody great fun!
Please excuse spelling, as finger speed is sometimes behind brain spped........ Or maybe the other wayy.....

Cheap and nasty fizzy drinks in small plastic bottles, add drop of dish soap, shake them before you shoot them.

That's what these were, I tipped the drink out. Shooting the fill drink bottles wasn't that exciting so thought I'd try something else.

The .22LR may have a greater "shock" effect to set off and displace C02 from the liquid if you cut the tip of the projectile flat, like a wadcutter.

Place the bottle's bottom towards you to give your bullet more distance-through-fluid to transfer energy into the carbonated water.

Bright red food dye to simulate the oxygenated blood of a lung shot. Hmm - maybe best leave that one till kids are older.

One day one went to 120psi but it was a cheapie brand and it let go as I pumped it up. Nearly lost my thumb, frag wounds to left hand, heaps of stitches. The valve lodged itself in the shed roof.

Luckily I lived 200m from the medical centre in town so I wrapped my left hand in a teatowel and walked down. The did a good job with my thumb and dosed me up on pain killers. From there I had to get to school for my chemistry exam which went ok until about 45 minutes to go and the local wore off well and truly. Mammoth effort to keep my shit together for that exam but got through it.

Had a phobia of compressed air cylinders for about 20 years after that...

I can still visualise the dent in the roof. I think the old man ripped us a new one after that. Stories of peeling a kid off a garage wall in the 70s after he tamped down some home made gunpowder too hard and the rod impaled him. Etc.

Surprised we made it through our teens really.

We did this at school one time (our science teacher was good value) - it is amazing how big a 600ml coke bottle will stretch before it lets go ....we never found the bottle ( think it was on a roof somewhere)

you get the idea, I find it far too unpredictable to use safely, depending on the bottle it can get to 600+ psi.

regulated pressure from HPA such as scuba tanks on the other hand
