    This forum is mean, I'd straight given up on this and resigned myself to using yards! Shot guys

    Shooter for Android how to set metric units

    Here it is for googleworlders.

    One way to get a screenshot is to hold the home button and, within a fraction of a second, touch the power button.

    This is the Shooter start sceen:

    Touch the coggy icon at bottom right and it opens up a preference screen:

    Select the Distance Unit in this box:

    Also set the Other Unit to metric if you want to use m/s for wind and so on.

    This does mean that when you set up your ammo, you need to enter bullet weight, the air pressure and temp etc in metric (they don't convert automatically and some default to the imperial number !) . Check wikipedia for sea level pressure in hectopascals. You also have to convert your muzzle velocity to m/s or you get some amazing ballistic results.
