Thread: Shooting ranges near west Auckland/Kumeu over 400m?

Akarana is out past Clevedon by a few K's

Yes Akarana City shoot out Kawakawa bay area, its as far as Clevdon. We shoot 400-800 yds. Only $50 to join if your not interested in shooting the Nationals. I head out there from West most shoots so can offer a ride if you are interested. Might not shoot again this side if Christmas as next weekend am shooting the practical in Otorohanga.

Also on a side note, I remember 4wding down a shooting range just off karioitahi beach. Anyone know what this one is and the range it has?

none that I know of both local nzda ranges only have max 200m... so inless you have private farm access its hard
clevedon is the only long range one I know of in Auckland but its not exactly local to west Auckland

ps there is an indoor 25m range for 22's (subsonic only) very close to you in swanson they meet Thursdays at 7pm if your keen for local rimfire trigger time
