Thread: Shooting ranges in the Waikato

Looking to join a shooting range in the Waikato, if any? Is the Tokoroa shooting complex still running?

There are quite a few ranges here. Tokoroa has the most different clubs.
Have a bit of a search on the forum as its an often asked question. Most don't have much of a web / facebook presence so you'll need to do a bit of detective work.
If you have trouble locating contact name / email for one, send me a PM.

Tokoroa shooting complex is still open. I was silhouette shooting down there over the weekend.
Very good set up there too.

You do need to attend the site for a one off induction as part of the initial membership. These are done once a month

Anyone shoot at a range known as "Bunker Hill" I have an idea where it is but cant work out how to join or if they even have a rifle range for at least 100m

It’s only 25 metres or so

I joined the BOP NZDA, they have a range at the TECT park between Tauranga and Rotorua. You can shoot 25, 50, 100, 200 and 300m all from the same position, and are in the early stages of planning/building a range out to about 860m.
They have public range days, I think it’s the last Saturday of each month.

Is it still running? I heard the land had been sold
