Yes that's real disappointing
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Sorry about that. We had to close entries a few days earlier as with out our ranges we are limited to the number of squads that can shoot, and the squad numbers are high enough as it is.
We did provide an online entry form through eventbrite. Hopefully next year we will have more ranges and be able to take more shooters.
My frickin holster cert hasn't showed up from PNZ yet which may be an issue
Just need your number which you can get off Graham.
No dramas.

Do what ya want! Ya will anyway.
Ring PNZ, there is someone there "full time" and they handle these things. I almost never wear my holster badge (though generally it is in my range bag). Normally when you enter they ask your holster number and check it against the data base and will contact you if something is an issue.
Weather forecast looks good too
Gimp and I arrived without incident. Had a feed, chained up the gimp and off to the scratcher with one eye open.😆

Thanks Pete. I will need all the luck I can get but I reckon my leather clad friend will do ok if he can control that weird whimpering and giggling😆
I'm not fast but hope to be accurate.
Planning to learn heaps and find what to concentrate on. in order to improve.

^ that.
Slow, smooth is your best option for your 1st match. Watch the briefing, count the targets, walk through in your mind where you're going, rather than "oh here's a target".
Shooting order in your squad is based on competitor entry # lowest number 1st, and whoever shoots 1st in the stage gets moved to the back of the line and shoots the next stage last, 2nd becomes 1st, 3rd becomes 2nd and so on. So if it's a small squad you'll have at least one stage where you're going 1st :-) if they're large squads there's a chance you won't get the chance to go 1st.
Soon as you've finished the stage, follow the RO for scoring, then sign your score sheet, then reload your magazines, and only then rejoin the squad to help with brass and patching.
And above all, have FUN ! It's a sport for enjoyment, so don't beat yourself up if you hit a no shoot - everyone in the squad will let you know anyway hehehe
And don't drop your mag and finish a stage until you check you haven't missed any targets, penalty for "Did Not Engage" and missing the points can be a killer, and worth a few seconds
