Thread: Sig Sauer BDX - sighting in Canterbury

Afternoon all . I have made the shift to the Sig Sauer BDX system and its been great at short ranges 200M and under on my 7MM RM . I am in need of checking its Muzzle Velocity at a range I want to shoot at - 400-500M
Is there a place in Canterbury - hopefully Selwyn where you can go. Lake Lyndon is over populated and the hand loaders range is not long enough. Deer Stalkers is an option but I cant really lose the whole day :-)

Any one have any ideas ? Maybe there is a local rural property with range like properties ?

I assume you got sorted for this, but for reference, the Sparrowhawk range is South Canterbury is the answer. They run open days monthly, or other sessions by arrangement. Distances from 300m to 2100m.

Yeah, it's further away, but worth it to validate your data to any distances.
