It's all fun and games till Darthvader comes along
I respect your beliefs but don't impose them on me.
I just had a look at them online. The All Purpose pad looks like something that may help. It doesn't curve away at the top like a lot of them do. I'm trying to move the fulcrum point up as high as possible. The Sako 75's have a large amount of drop from the barrel axis.
Theres an italian brand which are real nice. They are also a fraction of the weight of tbe limbsavers which are damn heavy.
Ken Henderson uses these italian pads on his CF stocks, ive recently fitted one to a very light weight fibreglass model 7 stock.
Im just heading away hunting but will try to find the brand later
Hi Dazzh
I have a parker hale 30-06 on which I replaced the hard plastic butt plate with a Limbsaver, the reduction in felt recoil was very noticeable (and appreciated) and the muzzle jump has been tamed a little as well. I
t wasn't hard to shape to the shape of the butt and it looks good. The rifle is not suppressed either which tests the ear muffs at the range.
Some sticky pads from the supermarket hygiene asile, tool free, easy to replace when cleaning fluid leaking everywhere is absorbed, stack em up as needed

As you get older and struggle to control your mighty magnum, maybe you could shoot a lighter projectile? Or burn a bit less powder? Or just stick to carrying out other peoples deer (like those with bung shoulders)!

Sorry, that was a bit on the nose. I'm still laughing about the reference mate!!
Lmao. Stick to fishing mate. Hunting a whole other game lol.
I have put limbsavers on two rifles, one a sako...they do a very effective job, but they melt and go real tacky rather quickly...won't be putting on any more..
Stick with the tacky one. It will match the rifle.
Bung a supressor on the front. Will almost eliminate muzzle jump, and will soak up felt recoil considerably too.
Then flapper disc the sticky bits off the existing limb saver![]()
