Only 6.5x55 we were able to get was the new Sako Blade Round.
Yes, as with all suppliers, we can only absorb so much. Thankfully it was only half of what we were expecting

we dont have excess MT cans...you just proved it yourself..we fill them up.....
Surely all these empty logging ships could be bringing in a few containers or other goods? I might write to Jacinda and asked why we aren't taxing these empty ships coming in.
Mid pandemic last year Sulphur point ( TGA) was running at 150% capacity or something close to it. The rehandling of boxes to come to the hook was astronomical it would take 30 minutes to get one from the yard ( usually come in at about 1 -2 minutes per ) for a load rate of 30 to 50 / hr.
They couldnt literally take them away (to Akl etc) Things started to improve when more rail got put on, and then the cost to hire a box went through the roof so not as much import / export via container.
Now 25 to 50% of the staff have been layed off due to not getting the jab ( bear in mind this is people that have worked under level 4 PPE restrictions since this shit storm started.... with NO border leak of covid via personnel at the ports )
Add to that the people have been operating at full capacity under the wonderfull 24 /7 routine ..... on pretty much minimum wage for a lot of these people...... things slowing down .... you aint seen the half of it yet.
And like eveything its not just here, its everywhere.
Yep in 30-06 we had some 150 and 180 gr Gamehead came in, as well as some new 150gr Super hammerhead
Glad I have good stocks everything I shoot but supply is sporadic, that's for sure.
Broncos and Delta Mike have Winchester small rifle primers at a good price at the moment if anybody is looking.
Not much else around though at a good price at the moment. Some of the prices being charged in the community are crazy.
Hopeful its not the new norm.
Sounds like NZ needs its own ammo and reloading component manufacturer.
