Its easy to make those targets yourself. Perfectly safe and no need to import anything.

Was just wondering what it'd take to make a coke bottle sealed and left in the sun with petrol in it go up.

Urea and diesel iirc needs a lot of pressure to make it go off? If that's right would a 308 create enough force?

Urea nitrate and it's fuel mixture needs a detenator, a bullet won't do it.

The exploding targets you see on you tube are prilled ammonium nitrate and aluminum powder. Requires a rifle bullet to detonate, totally safe to handle.

Can anyone buy a detenator?

You could probably make one. How much do you enjoy having fingers?

You can also do exploding targets with UN +Al.

It's a bit of a myth that you just add diesel to Urea to make a bomb, the stuff needs to be converted to another compound first, using nitric acid I think. And when produced it needs a shock wave to detonate it.

In England I used to spread tonnes and tonnes of actual Ammonium Nitrate and they were pretty careful how they stored that stuff and it may have even been a controlled substance. All that needed was diesel and a blasting cap which would be pretty easy to make. But if you want to play with explosives I advise you join the Army or get tthe quals and go to the mines in Oz.

I think the formula is 94% Ammonium Nitrate & 6 % diesel plus a detonator, I would have thought a shotgun shell would do the trick just nicely. The chain reaction produces a shitload of oxygen which feeds the beast.

You can set it of as a low order explosive too, by simply igniting it. Pretty versatile stuff, grow your tomatoes, move rocks and blow up infidels.
