Could I ask please: are both the circles and square on the targets used as points of aim, and how much of a limiting factor is mirage typically for this type of shooting ?
I use the LH side & bottom edges of the centre circle (moth ball) to aim at, I'm told by some US shooters that that isn't right & is too slow....many many ways to skin a cat...
With most guys using 40-48 power scopes Mirage can become a big issue.
Apparently it can be better than using the wind flags for shooting small groups......that's currently way way outside my paygrade

I saw the groups in person the other day, and, it is hard to believe people can be this in tune with their rifles.
