Putties and Hikers. A man of taste. Off topic, but where did you score the putties if ya dont mind me asking? Do they have a zip at the back or are they slip on?

think i got them at h and f. they pull on no zip which is good because zips always seem to fail. hikers i found are good because they mould around the rock when one walks over. had expensive boots in the past but they seen quite stiff in the sole and dont mould. that is just my point of view others will prob disagee.

Cheers Sako. I am a big fan of hikers had many a pair and as you say they are excellent, quiet and perfect for conditions on the coast. I just poke a couple holes in mine to let water out. Sweet I will try and get a pair of the putties. Mine are on their last legs and I have never been keen on the zip ones, but havent seen slip on ones available for ages.
