WELCOME Mate...... looking forward to seeing your journey from here onwards, first wallaby has been ticked off, deer will happen one day.... once you hot little hands are on that hot little JW15 there will be no holding you back.
Welcome to the forum and all the best on your hunting journey! There is a lot to learn but learning about hunting is a lot of fun and very engaging.
Welcome
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
Welcome.
Tell us a bit more about yourself.
Are you a hunter - big or little game?
A target shooter - smallbore or fullbore?
Your favourite calibre(s)?
Have you fallen into the reloading wormhole yet?
Well Cyclops....I can say his first ever shot of centrefire...was with my .223 and snotted a wallaby as neatly as you please. He didnt disgrace himself in the slightest with .12ga over opening weekend either...but he did try to pinch my Pump after using it...and our mutual mate who shot with us that year and the season before still hasnt forgiven him for shooting not 1 but 2 caanada geese first time out....poor ol Casey still hasnt managed to tick that box LMFAO.
Yep I’m very new to it all and just learning. I haven’t really made any decisions or plans yet! Looking forward to learning.
this fella shot first deer today......and managed to walk out over some VERY trying country without complaint...he shoots well too...the wallabies not happy, they are dead.
you'll do mate...you'll do.
Welcome almnz, if you hang out with @Micky Duck I'm sure we'll be out on a hunt together soon enough. I reckon we should plan a day out to our usual wallaby spot Micky.
This site will do a good job of taking the Mickey out of ya!
Welcome
@amlnz welcome aboard, looks like your already got some great people in your corner already, the fact your out there doing it a got your first deer, well done!
G'day @amlnz, welcome on the forum! if you ever decided to have a crack a competition shooting, section22 run a good 22lr shoot to break into the comp scene. sparrowhawk & boundary creek classic are local for centrefire.
