    Hello from the US

    Hi Everyone,

Long time reader, first time poster due to difficulties with my password but I think that’s been sorted out. I’m an avid hunter from the State of Wyoming in the US where I’m fortunate to be able to chase elk, mule deer, and pronghorn. Outside of hunting season my wife and I spend our time backpacking (tramping) through the wilderness areas in our corner of the world.

I am planning to make a trip to the South Island in 2026 chasing reds and tahr. Information on this forum has been a huge help already, and I’m looking forward to finally being able to engage with you all. Cheers!

Welcome Adam. Let me know if you need any info for your planned 2026 trip.

I’ve had the pleasure of hunting WY 5 times and had an awesome time each trip.

Is your photo the wind river ranges?

    Thanks all!

cb-14, yes it is - good eye! We spend a lot of time in the winds, it’s beautiful country. When I get PM privileges I’ll shoot you a note.
