Haha would never get rid of the subbie, but am planning on finding another 4x4, just waiting on something to come through work that i can afford.
Just ordered me a tikka t3 .223 today so will definitly be keen to get out for a hunt at some stage, will have to get some practice on the gun range first though
Congratulations Hayden. Take your time selecting the right rifle for you. See if you can use a few different calibres before you settle on what you like. Of course that isn't a problem if you buy one in every calibre.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
Welcome to the forum! Your in the right place if your new to the sport and should learn quite a bit here.
What are you intending to shoot Hayden? You won't go wrong with a T3 but if you want to shoot anything bigger than goats you might be better with a slightly bigger caliber.
Matt.
