    Cooking it whole is the most traditional way and makes for a fun time while waiting.

    Cochon de Lait is the local term.

    But roasting or barbecuing allows for making sausage, boudin (sausage casing stuffed with meat, rice and seasoning)
    poboys (sandwich), bacon, stew with gravy and vegetables, meatballs, tacos... pretty much any dish.

    Old Sye is good value on Duck Dynasty too. He must keep the cold coffee companies going all on his own. I reckon he's got the world sorted.
