Got a couple of shots away from here on occasions too..... but you have to take it real slow, be very quiet and stalk in real close for a guaranteed kill.

Any place what I can reach easily from Taihape road?

I have a possie you will enjoy, you just want it for meat hunting or decent stags as well???

Anything over 8 will do with meat animas as well

Welcome to the forum Petree if you have a place to stay in Rotorua i can take you for a hunt in the summer, my hunting spot should be cleared from 1080 by then

check out my posting about hunting fishing trip nov/dec bay of plenty. you can come along and meet some like minded bastards. other wise we could go for a look up the kaimais for a deer, or my spot here in rotorua where we can hunt deer or pig
