It looks like it works well. I have a number of friends here in the states that are custom call makers and I use a number of different ones, sometimes just a change in pitch can make a difference. We also use a lot of sounds that mimic the howls and barks of coyotes to kick in there curiosity, mating or territorial responses.

I did pick up a fox whistle from Sweden and it works well also but like the Silva very similar to what we have available here.

welcome to the forum , and its good to see someone using a combo/drilling outside of Europe , always thought they would be a good hunting tool , ie versatile .
