    Only ever handled one of those once; in .243 it was. Very nice little rifle until age got the better of them (Bit like all of us I spose)

    I think you’ll find there’s a built in delay measures in days not weeks I think) for new members to forum before they can post in certain areas.

    This was instigated so that there was a measure of protection for us from scammers etc.

    I’m sure you’ll find you can view/post everywhere pretty soon ...

    And .308 on a mob of wallaby starts to hit your shoulder after a few rounds lol....

    Remember if you’re able to night-shoot wherever you go, there are other options ...(#2 load 12g up close seems to work well)

    My first rifle, it’s 308 and it suits me as I’m a ‘lefty’ and when I bought it there were sweet-all left-hand rifles available, - unlike the situation now!
