Welcome Richard. Good to see you are planning a NZ visit. The offer from Tahr is a good one. You are also welcome to join me for a tahr hunt if the timing works out, I normally do at least one spring (Oct - Nov) hunt and one rut (May - June) hunt every year. I also can help with easy to access tahr spots, you can actually see them from the road in places. Also getting a visitors firearms license is possible but painful.
