    Returning to hunting after to long an absence

    Hi finally got back into hunting after about 20 years without guns
    Been keen hunter all my life. hunted in Scotland both shoot gun and rifle. Came to NZ in 94 Money was always a bit tight but finally got back into it
    got my FAL end last year got myself a new 6.5x55 and manageing to keep a bit of meat in the freezer now
    Also keen fisherman (sea) I have my own boat but again don't get out as much as I would like to mainly due to work commitments
    Really enjoy reading the comments on this forum

    Work is a necessary evil ............. it finances those hunting and fishing trips.

    Welcome Harry. Good to have you amongst us.
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
