Visiting and thinking about moving ti NZ

    Hi All,

I'm Jason. I'm American but I've spent most of my life in the UK and SE Asia. I moved around a lot and work mostly on my own so I've got trouble connecting with people. I like to spend my time in the bush when I can. I'm currently in SE Asia. I've been to NZ once for a quick visit. I' going back again in December and will spend a few months there and try to explore more and see if I can move over.

I started to get interested in hunting only a few years ago and I've only been to one trip with some older people I hang out with and I want to learn and do more. I believe this is a good place for it.

    Welcome @YoungBear
Amazed some of our more experienced members haven't spotted this YET.
It would help if you were more specific about where/what animals you're interested in hunting.
For ownership of firearms, you'll need either a visitor's (help me here guys) license.
If bringing a firearm (BA rifle is easiest), prepare by reading up on NZ Arms Act & Regulations, and also take it out of country when you leave.
That's the sum total of my very limited knowledge here.
