Damn it DH I advised against that. You will only encourage her.
    Dougie likes this.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Can't help myself. Most animals have me wrapped around their paws fairly quickly - even those that aren't my own.

I went to a fondu recently and was the only one feeding the three dogs present tidbits of beef...... I mean, how can you resist those big brown eyes???

Even if it is the meat of a declared pest, ie possum, feral goat, hare I understand it cannot be sold per se...as there is no governance regarding the sale/purchase etc...

Theres an outfit in Blenheim called Premier Game that buy wild game off local hunters to sell as meat. Not sure where or how they sell the meat but might be worth a call .

Last i heard the hunters suppliying them have to GPS kills and basically have to provide everything but the stomach to the butcher to verify the animal is ok for "human consumption". Everything has to be still "attached" to the carcass as well i.e. heart, lungs, liver, kidneys... I think you will find that butcher has a meat inspector full time in their process facility inspecting every animal that goes through.

I don't do it myself though so i can't say i would want to be quoted on that.

You also need to be certified as a supplier/hunter NZQA type ticket IIRC.
