Those buggers are all over my place. They love picking over dropped horse feed.

Went for a bit of a bush walk this morning to swap the card out on one of my cameras. Thought this was quite an interesting visual representation of anther growth across a couple of weeks. Bit early though isn't it??

Ordinarily I would have said that's waaay early. But then today I noticed the deer are back in my forest, buggering up more trees in preparation for losing their antlers. Early from my experience.

You're a wee bit far away to just 'pop over'

Trouble is, they are not living on my farm, merely visiting. The trail cameras show a very broken pattern of visiting. So what happens is I go down there a dozen times and see nothing, then check the sd cards and see they were there at 10 am the day I did an evening hunt, and 2am five days later.

But you are more than welcome to come and try your luck. There's hares that need snotting too.

Will be holding another get together in Spring once its warmed up, and hopefully NOT RAINING!!! unlike the last two get togethers
