    harrier hawk - more pork - feral cat -karearea- seagull- or its jammed between the tires of a Kenworth or someone thought it the last of its species and has dropped it of at the nearest DOC office - or someone has skinned it and taken it to local food bank as a sausage - man one could have some fun with this - but really my quess would be my first two guesses

    I've also seen Ferrets dragging road kill off the road. Plenty of Ferrets on the western end of Akatarawa Road
