Another rat on the road

Went back two days later and the rat was gone... who ate the rat?

Perhaps it was a feral cat or something else?

Did you say, "Road RAGE!?" OR "Road Rat!?"

harrier hawk - more pork - feral cat -karearea- seagull- or its jammed between the tires of a Kenworth or someone thought it the last of its species and has dropped it of at the nearest DOC office - or someone has skinned it and taken it to local food bank as a sausage - man one could have some fun with this - but really my quess would be my first two guesses

I've also seen Ferrets dragging road kill off the road. Plenty of Ferrets on the western end of Akatarawa Road

McKenzie country is the ferret capital of NZ, after the small kingdom of the beehive

The deer are obviously out and about
