Having less jump seems also to reduce pressure. I tested 60th (like factory 180) with same charge and was getting 2960-2970fps and slight ejector marks
Yeah that makes sense, my creedmoor does the same thing. I run 143 ELDX out almost jammed, if i shorten the coal with the same powder charge the velocity goes up and i run into pressure.
Interesting. Every rifles going to be different i guess but from my experience, using FED215 which is whats used for hornady data, book max has definitely been max in my rifle for 2225 2217 and RL26
Yep, there is no magic receipe, I see people testing load given on internet more and more without working on a ladder this is worrying. I would definitely NOT try 66.4gn with magnum primer.
