    28 Nosler

I have built a couple of these but this is the first one I have got up & running.

All the good stuff, Defiance Deviant Hunter action, 28" 1-8 #3 Bartlein barrel, T2 Terminator muzzle brake, McMillan Classic Hunters Edge stock HS bottom metal, Timney Calvin Elite trigger.

Very nice rifle with little to no recoil

REceived it from Scott yesterday, bedded it & got some loads organised.

You know everything is pretty good when your second group fired looks like this, rounds 6-9 from new

The 195's shoot pretty well too

Bare weight isn't too bad either.

As expected the customer is a happy camper

I only used RL33 & have only fired 20 rounds so far.

Its not running hard at all.

My reamer is mag fit with both the 180 ELDM & 195 EOLEH

Took it up the range yesterday to get a couple of loads.

Seems happy, those loads had no pressure to speak of & no bolt lift at all with the Bertram brass, good old Defiance action

Nice! Good to see a few more of these being built.

The 195's seem to shoot very well alright, i rechecked mine at 100 the other day, on a tall target test, after i gave the rifle/scope a massive smack to the ground. It print two groups of two shots like this but 20 moa apart.

Its also put two shots into basically the same hole in a bank at 1275 yards. The cartridge and bullet combo seems to shoot very accurately provided the rifle is built with quality parts.

    195gr berger at 3070 also with RL33.

Greg's T2 brakes tame these big cases incredibly well.

The 195's sure hit hard, shot this red stag at just 286 yards last weekend.

Next time I'll move back to the next ridge before shooting ;-)
