That is dedication in spades. We shoot our goats with a 17HMR and 223.[slightly closer of course] Those Nelson ones must be a bit trickier?

How does an Alaskan purchase one of your Terminator brakes? Anybody have experience with the AR 338 Lapua, AR 50A1 BMG, Chey Tac rifles? I have an Edge that I'm developing loads for--and working out the set-off (lands) and it's a barrel of fun, but I still pine for something in the super 338/408 or 375/408 realm...

Thanks....I probably should have put it better.....

I could see they were dead but I didn't go across the river to see how much damage the bullet made.

    Is that better ????

I had a play with Reloder 50 with the 425 CE pills a wee while ago now, nice increase in velocity

I had very few unfired cases left & I was waiting for my dies to come back so I didn't do any accuracy testing.

I have the dies back & had been "playing" with the 338 DCM, so today I loaded some 338 & 375 DCM bullets & took them to my longish range.

I couldn't understand why the groups with the 375 were about 1moa low, I figured it out when I got home, the scope has been off the rifle & I had forgotten

At least I still hit the target at 620 yards

I shot a couple of groups, testing things, this was the best one, very pleasing considering the slight breeze & a bit of mirage

The Reloder 50 has certainly perked it up a bit, will be interesting to see how it behaves with temperature movements.

I got my new projectiles today, just like the 425s

They are big girls, CEB .375, 450 grain Lazers, 2.5" long, the BC should be around 1.08

My new 375 DCM has only had 10 rounds through until today & those were shot in February this year.

I tried 3 powder loads stepping up a grain at a time with both AR 2218 & RL50, unfortunately the new brass is a little softer than the previous lot I used

The bottom group was shot from clean & cold, shots numbers 11-13 through the barrel, with my best guess for a starting load

The beauty of the CEBs is they don't change much as weight goes up so seating depth & powder charge is extremely easy to get right quickly.

Here is the .375 Lazer family from 325-450 grains, in 25 grain increments, some of these are yet to be released.

Here is the 450 next to .223 & .308 bullets.

I did some testing at 450 yards in reasonable mirage.

Over all I'm very happy so far with only 34 rounds down the tube & minimal copper fouling from the 7.25 exit twist Bartlein barrel.

I will try to do some ELR testing this weekend if weather permits, so I can finalise the exit twist for an upcoming barrel order.

Here is the vid from Sundays efforts, sorry it is a little rough

Pretty happy with how it went considering the total amount of rounds down the tube & load development done, 34 rounds

1st shot was a little off but not to bad for a guess....
