Do you have your numbers wrong way around? I thought it's a 6.5PRC necked up to 7mm....not a 7PRC necked down.

I believe it is the replacement for the 7SAUM, unless more brass manufactures pick it up

The 6.5 PRC is here to stay, along with plenty of good brass being readily availible

aka 7 PRCW. This is the more common name in F Open circles. W is for Alex Wheeler who was prominent in getting it running. I have just got my new F Open rig assembled and starting on load devl't. It'd dead easy to run 2950 with 180s in our 30/32" bbls but it seems 2820-2850 is where it's at for accuracy. 53grs of 2209 is a common accuracy load.

Yes but ADG can cause problems in some chambers

Is only available ex USA from boutique suppliers & when ADG chose to run it, its not all back ordered

In 5 years time will you be able to source it ?

Heaps of companies make PRC brass and ammo & will continue to do so

ADG even make 7-6.5 PRC brass

Either way - a short action 7mm that can sling pills at those velocities is the the sweet spot for a light, short and deadly rifle for any game that it is pointed at is a win.
