In the past with a hot rodded 7-08 I found no advantage at all, in fact I had a net velocity loss.....

I think I have a spare Bartlein #3, also a Krieger 1-8.5, sorry no use for a 1-9,

Benchrest action, alloy with Steel insert to take the bolt lugs & barrel tennon & they do make bigger ones as well.

Going back to a post on here a couple months back. Have you had a chance to play around with some loads in the 6.5cm Lapua brass? Have you seen any advantages of the smaller primer pocket in terms of pressure or velocity?

Not yet, lost velocity, need to try to get it back, I'm waiting for a proper rifle to do testing, to be built in the next week or two.
