Bloody cold though, nice new hut but no bloody fire. Will drive to it next time.
There is the odd deer in there too, mainly at either end of beebys with not much in the middle, keep it under your hat and keep shooting the goats.

Doc don't google hunting forums to see where they need to 1080 as far as I am aware, Its a for lack of better word special interest area and they like to have zero 4 legged things there.
which is odd because most of the terrain is man made, I know because my old man did it

They just wave a finger around and stick it on a map
There are many areas surveyed by trappers for DOC that are 'just' under the bombing limit and get trapped via contract that make those trappers 'very' rich if you get what I mean.
That's a good thing for hunters

Yeah I caught the farmer as I was walking in as I followed the 4wd track marked on the map and didn't realise the walk in starts 20 minutes walk to the south of the road access. Farmer said he's locked the gates due to people laying their own 1080 up the road.
Why would an individual have an interest in doing that?
Even saw a sign from DOC saying to report any sign of 1080 being laid

And where are the getting said 1080? I was going to pm ya re driving access because as far as I was aware it was locked from lake station at DOCs request?

Don't know, all sounds pretty strange to me. The farmer said he'd give me access if I ever want it so that's good. Maybe DOC have another reason to want to restrict driving access to the hut

Current tally is at 82 knives so will be ordering 100.

THE LAST 18 AVAILABLE ARE First in first served, any interest over 100 will be on the wait list for people that pull out. Then may do a small order if enough extra interest.

Just reply in thread also to save my pm inbox, I can just print the entire thread and keep a track that way.
