Yeh the Aero Precision one is pretty good, but I guess you could import a LMT one!
Colt do a monolithic upper, but I think its only carbine length.
I'm enjoying shooting with it, nice change from the 20: Hbar.

Ouch LMT=more coin although the barrel locking system is awesome.
Yes 20 Hbars are really a target rifle. The short exposure and close stuff should be easier with a real service style rifle.
The LMT Mars-L (for civilian use) quoted to me by an importer was in the region of $4-5K (realistically $5K each or lesser if there was more purchased) depending on how the NZD compares to USD and provided there is stock. Can't justify that cost for essentially what is just another AR.
...for NZD5k, you could build a clone with a decent scope...
But having a genuine LMT is cool...
The price is actually not that far off from the other higher-end models that are already in the country. Since retail in the US for the bare rifle is at around USD$2600 and include US export fees, convert to NZD plus GST15% and add importer's cut = around $5K. But totally agree to build a clone and still have some change left to buy an ACOG for it.
Can't believe my eyes, after 2 years waiting it's here!
