    Smoked Eel Num num num

Place Warm Smoked Eel fillets on top of a good sized scoop of Creamy Mashed Kumera drizzel with Olive Oil top with rashers of crispy bacon and surround with your favourite greens.

    Or

    Smoked Eel Pie
Use your favourite Fish Pie reciepe and use the smoked Eel instead of the fish.

Serve with a fresh cob of bread and your favourite cold beer.

Damn now I'm bloody hungry for a feed of Eel ..... good excuse to go set the Hinake.

    Cheers
    Pete

A 20lb + snapper cant straighten hooks as well as big eels.
I used to sell them to the fush n chup shop in tp as a teenager, $2 a kilo, got $56 for 6 eels once.
Bought some rat traps with that $ cause it was $2 a rat from the council. Those were the days
