cackleberries from back yard, bought bacon and that venison died about this time yesterday, eye fillets and a small piece of the funny pale log like muscle beside rump steak....it had wee layer of fat on it so kept it for myself.
I call that the little log thing the "Salmon cut". I think that is its proper name.

Own tomatoes. Recipe out of Dish magazine. Beautiful with venison steaks.

Tomatoes, garlic bulb, black and green olives, feta cheese, raisins, caraway seed, chilli flakes, thyme, oil. Bake 45 mins.

Fennel seeds (not caraway). My memory mistake.

Hot smoked Kahawai, BBQ baked fish wrapped in banana leaves, one with ginger chili, mangos and soy/fish sauce and plenty of butter, the other with wild fennel, onions, lemons and plenty of you guessed it butter...

Fallow backsteak shot by @Micky Duck a couple of weeks ago. A sprinkle of Moroccan seasoning and fried on hot as BBQ. Melt in your mouth deliciousness.
