    Oh the humble French fry. This ensemble in my opinion is the perfect steak dinner. A regular for me.

    It is nice to see more and more people cooking venny as a whole piece, resting it and then slicing to serve. Cooked like that, the food of kings.
    The venny looks great but there's a chip in the plate !

    Excellent treatment of your venison. Sear the portion of back steak in a hot pan and finish in the oven at 200 for 8-10mins pending size. Absolutely awesome cold with a nice fresh salad too.
    Should say that above is for a decent sized red back steak.

    Did Rosemary stay to enjoy it too? Or did she not have thyme?
