Thread: Trout Cakes

    They were very tasty,heres the recipe 4 u guys.
    FishCcakes
    1lb cooked fish 1 cup mashed potatoes
    2eggs 1 cup white breadcrumbs
    1tbsp butter abit of pepper,abit of parsley or mixed herbs
    Salt to season

    1.Mix the potatoes,fish and the seasonings together in a bowl.
    2.Add melted butter and 1 egg beaten and add to the butter.
    3.Divide into cakes and roll in flour,then egg and into crumbs.
    4.Deep fry in hot fat or in oil in frying pan for 5mins each side.
    5.Drain on paper before serving.
    And enjoy.

    I know, Dundee...in hindsight it was rather rash of me ( it was worth it though just to see the look on his face!!!)...but I hadnt been having much luck with the beggars and was wanting to devote more time to the dogs and fishing got left out...

    I'm shock to see the wee sauce bottle at your place Dundee. I thought there would just be a tap on the wall hooked up to a cube outside.

    Master Chef are recruiting for the next series Dundee. Give it a whirl. You could win with that combination.
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
