Has anybody fired enough shots to tell us how they are handling the magnum/Ultra mag forces? KiwiGreg should test one on 1 of his 338s

Slipped down to Tauranga today to pick up my rifle from Jason, was nice to meet him in person.
New stock looks good and ready for testing in the weekend.
Old plastic stock (with a bit of epoxy stiffening in the front) was 945gms, new one is 580gms.
So a 365gms saving which is roughly the weight of the suppressor

Looks like there may have been a mistake - Jason's cut the notch for the bolt handle on the wrong side hahaha

Slightly wider in the forend than the Mk1 stock and stiffer but lighter! 510g without bottom metal, but with recoil pad and studs.
Mine unfortunately needs to be re-made as the jig must have slipped in the machining making the bottom metal a bit too loose fitting. Credit to Jason though as he is onto it and busy making me a new one now.
    Bushrash and R93 like this.

That is one very nice stock, I like the hand grips front and back with the rest showing the carbon weave. Are the hand grips painted? and how much fitting did you need to do?
What did it end up costing you?

now that would be a work of art.

I sent the rifle to Jason to bed it for me so no fitting issues for me
For what I got done was $925
