How about some of the classic Hillver or Ausinel steel rings for a 22 dovetail. Nice and and tidy and well made. Then make a QD lever arrangement using the original dovetail clamp and screw to tighten them on to your rib. There was another Aussie manufacturer that made good old fashioned steel rings, but cant remember the name.

I could get a happy snap of the bases that I have if you like. I believe the Warne 7.3 Rimfire rings fit those bases so maybe have a look at those.
I can tell you the centerfire rings have had close to 70 rounds of 340 and 350gr pills with about a 50-50 split of 2200ish pfs and 2600 ish fps.
They definitely hold zero. haven't tried the quick detach bit to see if they keep zero though

Yes I have been looking at that option
Wouldn't work for some types because the bottom screw doubles as the scope mount clamp
The answer is out there somewhere
No use looking at offshore web sites because mostly out of stock and the issues with freight etc

May not be relevant to your situation but this is the solution I used to mount a Weaver 1" scope on my BRNO ZKW465. I didn't wish to remove the rear sight (and then lose it as is the norm). So to get absolute mimimum clearance between the scope objective and the rear sight I used a combination of Warne's 30mm QD rings and Brownell's delrin 30mm to 1" reducers. Other rings were either miles too high or too low. The scope has ended up at a nice shooting height but maybe just a tad further fwd than optimum. And my rear sight is safe from losing.

    Yes that is close
But sadly I have discovered there are several almost perfect mounts like this but they are all for 30mm scopes
That's pretty weird on a narrow rimfire base
Clearly I'm swimming in the shallow end of the pool and all the cool guys with 30mm scope are over there!

    Old style warne premier bases.
Just over 36mm long, 6.5mm thick (obviously dependent on reciever heights),12.5mm wide and 11 at the dovetail.
Tried texting you but teenagers pillaged group data so it wont send for a bit.
Quite a neat small base sadly discontinued but as posted earlier similar to Kimber apparently and the rings fit brown dovetails but that's from the interweb not personal experience

Have you tried Klaus Pommer? He has Recknagel and they do all sorts of QD. I imported EAW from Germany for a set of Suhl style twist off rings, but the catalogue is hundreds of pages long.

    https://www.optics-trade.eu/nz/rusan...-4-mm-q-r.html

I found exactly what I was looking for in SLOVENIA !
And a range of mount heights

Has anyone dealt with optics-trade.eu ?

Massive range on the web site
But a long way to get a very small item freighted and lost
Even in NZ the couriers can loose huge things with ease

I brought my EAW mounts in via optics-trade.eu.
It worked for me, fairly quick and not too rapacious on the freight.

Should have made it clear that EAW are from Germany, optics-trade are in Slovenia.
