Mines a 1941 Lithgow no 1 Mk111*
Think I've sourced a canadian forend
Now I need top woods and a nosecap.
PS Steven, any pictures would be great !
Ah, a 1941 Lithgow is a good buy, not common. I only have No4s, Im after a P14 right now, a no1 mk3 later on, yes probably next year once the P14 is sorted. The stocking of a No4 and no1 mk3 is considerably different so my pics are all no4. There is great book by an Aucklander? Roger W that I have that contains both tricks and tips, also he's on youtube, well worth watching. I recommend his book, either electronic (my one) or hardcover.

You just missed a brand new un-issued foreend it was probably ex-oz replacement contract on Trademe, bugger.
If I see any wood / parts I will let you know. TM will probably have the top woods for a no3, pretty common.
Is it missing anything else?

I've sourced a barrel band already
I think the nosecap will be the hardest to find
My set arrived. It's really nice!
Unfortunately it has CE196x on it... But I'm not sure what's bad about it. Inlet in looks nice and finish is very good.
Only complaint is its a S and I would have preferred N or L but beggers can't be choosers
Got some top woods today, Woohoo !
Just love a project !
Hi, My understanding is CE1967 is/was a south african contract wood replacement. Its Ok but it doesnt match well colour wise from what I have seen. The barrel channel on my one wasnt routed to the same depth on both sides so I had to dremel it to suit (to get clearance), so I guess YMMV. I am using my one as a test bed. I have a 8mm carbon fibre rod down the middle and its epoxy resin'd in, hopefully somewhat stiffer than normal. A stiffer forend is supposed to pick up 1/4 ~ 1/2 MOA, testing will [dis-]prove that I hope.

I'm still awaiting the action and the barrel hasn't been profiled yet.
Try raidsmilitaria.com he's based in France and has loads of Enfield stuff. Posts over to NZ too!
I've had a few bits with no problems.
