An itch ... is ... a desire to scratch
How is the project @Chilli_Dog?
An itch ... is ... a desire to scratch
Almost done, I need to make a spacer to go between the wood work and the back of the suppressor tube, because of the angle on the back of this it needs to be relived at the front so it can be taken off. I also need to nail the small metal strip between the two bits of front wood, I kind of forgot about this as I would have just epoxyed it on but I have already started oiling the wood so will need some little nails. I do still need a sling swivel if anyone has one.
Hopefully Ill give it a go this weekend.
Well made @Chilli_Dog!

Just to finish off, I tried it out a couple of weekends back, first few shots jammed in a pile of wood wit a string tied to the trigger, it worked fine with the standard plastic hulls, although the magazine would only reliably feed with 8 rounds loaded. Its about as loud as an un-supressed 22lr firing subs. The Russian steel case slugs didnt work so well, half of them split and some were definitly a lot louder than others, my chamber is at or slightly over max dimensions while the Russian shells seem to be right at the bottom end of the range.
So it is pretty much done unless someone has a take off barrel laying around to make a tighter chamber version with more open area near the muzzle end
see if you can find some #00 buckshot....Ive seen it before and its really easy to load for the .410 its a easy shell to load fullstop and no way can the price of factory ammo be justified.
forget metal hulls and just go plastic all the way,end of issue.
Bloody great stuff Chilli dog, looks like it would be a great hole reamer for some possums up a tree. . Now I`ve still got my old 1918 S M L E .303 !!,
Thanks Chilli-Dog, for some reason I lean more towards a 45-70 hogziller killer, the old girl is a longtom action, has the mag cut off slot , so don`t know if it would be a problem. Have to keep thinking about it, may think myself in to it.
perfect to make it a single shot then.....
