    Tried some 1500 wet and dry, yes takes the gloss off but didn’t like the look. Got a rattle can of clear matte and gave it coat. The bee’s knee’s

    Nice looking stock, I reckon you should try doing a full carbon stock.

    Came with rifle when I bought it (2nd hand). I think it’s one of the Tikka ones fitted over the REM bolt knob

    Having seen how the matt clear worked on this stock I went back to the first stock I made during lockdown. Currently this is finished in epoxy which shows off the CF very nicely but probably not the best for hunting. So decided to give a camo rattle can make over and then final matt clear finish, while leaving some of the black CF showing thru.
