    bolt pulling out of action

Any of you gun tinkerers would of come across this, 22 rimfire that you pull the trigger to fully remove bolt. When the bolt is worked hard and fast enough it pulls out of the action without pulling trigger. I don't expect you to 100% know without seeing it but what do you find is the common problem that causes this. I'm thinking maybe worn sear but not keen to play in that area unless Im overlooking something else..

    Seen it happen before

It’s a casualty of wear/adjustments out of spec

A competent gunsmith would sort it for you

Often a result of home tinkering to adjust trigger to light, and trigger sear to low to stop bolt coming out.

Most probably caused by someone wanting to lighten the trigger and have either adjusted the trigger and the sears have changed position. Or in worst case cenarios, someone has polished/machined/rounded the sharp edge of the sear to the point where the bolt will just bump it down and slide over it
